Firefly Soft Serve is the newest venture by Rivers & Roads Provisions LLC (Janine and Mike)

Many of you have heard that we're working on opening a seasonal soft serve shop just a few doors down from Rivers & Roads Cafe at 1253 W. Devon Avenue. While we're still waiting on city permits and don't yet have an official opening date, we've been busy making small batches in the Rivers & Roads bakery. (We will offer both dairy and DF/Vegan options!)

Over the past few months, we've hosted a few pop-ups and have been overwhelmed by the response. While we prepare for our permanent space, we're working on offering weekly or bi-weekly pint pick-ups, so you'll still be able to get your Firefly fix before we officially open.

Why "Firefly" Soft Serve?

While we LOVE our identity as Rivers & Roads Cafe, we wanted this new concept to capture a different feeling—the nostalgia of a childhood Midwestern summer.

Think running barefoot through wet grass, catching and releasing fireflies at dusk, watching the sunset, the smell of a bonfire, and stargazing as the sky turns dark. Firefly Soft Serve is inspired by those simple moments that make summer memorable, paired with the joy of enjoying a cold treat shared with family and friends.
